1ST CIFF ASEAN Associations Industry Collaboration Conference 2024 Drew Participation of 10 Key Associations
China International Furniture Fair (CIFF Guangzhou 2024), the world’s largest furniture and interiors trade exhibition, held the 1st CIFF ASEAN Furniture Industry Collaboration Conference on 19 March 2024. The event attracted the participation of 10 key furniture associations as well as more than 80 attendees.
Themed Growing Together 携手成长 , the conference was held in conjunction with the 53rd edition of CIFF Guangzhou.
The forum began with a keynote presentation by Giulia Taveggia, partner and senior research at CSIL, an eminent research authority on the furniture trade and industry based in Milan, Italy. Taveggia, a market research expert specialising in quantitative/statistical analysis of business data and sector competitiveness analysis for international markets, provided conference attendees an insight of the world of furniture, outlook for 2024 as well as highlight opportunities and challenges.
Part two of the conference was a round table discussion featuring heads of major industry associations in the ASEAN region. The associations that were represented included the following:

The round table session was moderated by Casey Loo, publisher of furnitureandfurnishing.com, Asia’s leading furniture trade journal. Loo is advisor to the World Furniture Confederation and Council of Asia Furniture Associations. He is also immediate past president of International Alliance of Furnishing Publications.
