CIFF Guangzhou Indonesia Promotion Conference to Connect Indonesia’s Furniture and Design Community with Global Business Opportunities
TANGERANG, INDONESIA — 27 August 2026 — Indonesia’s furniture, interior design and architecture communities will come together on 27 August for the CIFF Guangzhou Indonesia Promotion Conference, a special industry gathering aimed at strengthening business connections, encouraging knowledge exchange and exploring new trade opportunities between Indonesia, China and international markets.
Organised by China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) with the support ASMINDO, Indonesia’s national furniture and handicraft association, the conference will be held from 3pm to 6pm on August 27 at VIVERE HOTEL, Tangerang, Banten, bringing together furniture manufacturers and traders, interior designers, architects and members of the media for an afternoon of industry dialogue and networking.
A key highlight of the programme will be a presentation on CIFF Guangzhou 2027, providing Indonesian industry professionals with an overview of the upcoming edition, its key highlights and the business opportunities it offers to furniture companies, designers and other industry players seeking to expand their international presence.
The conference will also provide a platform for leading representatives of Indonesia’s furniture and design organisations to share their perspectives on the current industry landscape and opportunities for closer international collaboration.
Among the distinguished speakers is Mr Ji Pengpeng, Head of Exhibitor Marketing, CIFF, who will present the latest developments and opportunities associated with CIFF Guangzhou, recognised as the world’s largest furniture trade fair with its last edition spanning 850,000sqm, hosting over 5100 brands and welcomed 353,000 professional buyers from 185 countries and regions.
Mr Ji’s presentation will highlight how Indonesian furniture manufacturers, traders and design professionals can leverage the fair as a platform for sourcing, business networking, market development and international expansion.
The conference will also feature Mr Dedy Rochimat, President of ASMINDO, the national association for furniture and handicraft; Mr Budi Yulianto, Chairman of IAI, the national association for architects; and Mr Adi Surya Triwibowo, President of HDII, the national association for interior designers.
Another highlight of the conference will be a keynote presentation by Mr Eugenio Hendro of Eugenio Hendro Design Studio, who will offer insights to the latest design trends and opportunities of the design community.
Beyond the formal presentations, the conference is intended to encourage direct interaction among industry professionals and create opportunities for new partnerships and business relationships.
