China’s major furniture manufacturing hub Shengfang will welcome international buyers this September as the 34th Shengfang China International Furniture Fair opens its doors with an extensive furniture sourcing platform and dedicated business-matching opportunities.
The 34th Shengfang China International Furniture Fair is set to take place from 16–18 September 2026 at the Shengfang International Furniture Expo Center in Langfang City, Hebei Province, China.
Having successfully staged 33 editions, the fair continues to position Shengfang as an important sourcing and manufacturing destination within China’s furniture industry. The event brings together furniture products, materials, components and manufacturing resources, providing professional buyers with access to a broad spectrum of the region’s furniture supply chain.
According to the organisers, the Shengfang China International Furniture Fair encompasses eight major furniture categories, more than 80,000 individual products and over 1,000 types of raw and auxiliary materials and mechanical equipment, creating a comprehensive one-stop furniture procurement platform.
Connecting International Buyers with Manufacturers
A key focus of the September edition will be international trade development. During the exhibition, the organisers will conduct a dedicated foreign trade business-matching programme, enabling overseas buyers to engage in one-to-one discussions with furniture manufacturers.
The programme is designed to more efficiently match buyers’ sourcing requirements with suitable manufacturing resources. Based on individual buyer needs, the organisers can also arrange visits to furniture showrooms and factories, providing overseas participants with opportunities to gain a closer understanding of manufacturers, production capabilities and available products.
Such initiatives are intended to facilitate more targeted sourcing while encouraging longer-term business relationships between Shengfang manufacturers and international furniture buyers.
A Large-Scale Furniture Industry Platform
The Shengfang International Furniture Expo Center provides the physical foundation for the fair and the wider furniture trading ecosystem in the region. The organisers state that the complex covers approximately 650 acres with a total construction area of 630,000 square metres.
This includes some 280,000 square metres of exhibition and trade showrooms, 200,000 square metres dedicated to raw and auxiliary materials, and a 150,000-square-metre furniture e-commerce industry base.
The Shengfang furniture fair is staged twice annually, with Spring and Autumn editions. According to information supplied by the organisers, each exhibition attracts more than 100,000 professional buyers, reflecting the scale of Shengfang’s furniture manufacturing and trading network.
The development of the furniture industry in Shengfang also benefits from government and industry support. The fair is supported by the governments of Langfang, Bazhou and Shengfang in Hebei Province, while industry organisations including the China Furniture Association, Hebei Furniture Association and Shengfang Furniture Association are involved in supporting the platform.
Supporting Overseas Sourcing
For qualified international attendees visiting the September exhibition, the organising committee is offering complimentary hotel accommodation and catering, together with a travel subsidy of up to RMB1,000 for eligible participants.
Shengfang is accessible through several major transportation gateways in northern China. International visitors can travel via Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport or Tianjin Binhai International Airport, while rail connections are available through surrounding cities and stations. The organisers have also indicated that pickup arrangements can be provided for visiting buyers.
With its combination of a sizeable furniture manufacturing base, broad product offering and targeted international business-matching services, the 34th Shengfang China International Furniture Fair aims to provide overseas buyers with a direct route to manufacturers and new sourcing opportunities within one of northern China’s established furniture industry clusters.
