On 27 August, the CIFF Guangzhou Indonesia Promotion Conference was successfully held in Tangerang, Banten, bringing together more than 50 representatives from Indonesia’s furniture, architecture and interior design sectors.
The event was attended by senior government and industry representatives, including Mr. Deden Muhammad FS, Director of Manufactured Products Export Development, Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia; Mrs Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Head of the Jakarta Provincial Office of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs; Dr. Ir. Dedy Rochimat, President of the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (ASMINDO); and Mr Ji Pengpeng, Representative of CIFF Guangzhou.
The conference presented CIFF Guangzhou’s comprehensive industry-wide platform, highlights of its three major sub-shows, and the year-round business matching services of InterBiz Club. Indonesian industry professionals were invited to leverage CIFF Guangzhou to discover design innovation, explore cross-border business opportunities and unlock the complementary strengths of the Chinese and Indonesian home furnishing industries.
During the visit to Indonesia, the CIFF team also met with HIMKI and ASMINDO, as well as leading home furnishing companies including MEMORY, Cirebon Furniture and VIVERE Group, engaging in face-to-face discussions that resulted in a number of preliminary cooperation opportunities.
In March 2027, CIFF Guangzhou will once again open its doors in Pazhou, Guangzhou. We look forward to welcoming the global furniture and design community to connect, collaborate and explore new opportunities for the future of the industry.
