CIFF Guangzhou’s Global Online Conference Sets the Stage for March 2026 Exhibition

Guangzhou, PR China – 10 February 2026 — China International Furniture Fair Guangzhou (CIFF Guangzhou), the world’s largest furniture trade fair, held its annual pre-show Global Online Conference successfully on 10 February 2026 via Zoom. The event attracted 96 industry leaders and professionals from 35 countries and regions, uniting global voices ahead of the 57th CIFF Guangzhou.

The conference began with a welcome address by Mr David Zhao, Marketing Director of CIFF Guangzhou, who introduced the fair’s global reach and strategic importance as a premier platform for the furniture and furnishings industry.
Following the opening remarks, 15 senior representatives from leading foreign trade associations and international furniture enterprises presented short video messages. They shared insights into market prospects for 2026, provided invaluable tips, and conveyed their best wishes for the success of the upcoming CIFF Guangzhou.
Ms Nancy Han, Marketing Director of CIFF Guangzhou, then unveiled the theme of the 57th edition — “Connect and Create” — emphasizing the fair’s role in fostering meaningful links between people, ideas, and markets. Ms Han outlined the two-phase structure of the event: Phase One (18–21 March 2026) will feature Home Furniture, Outdoor Furniture, Home Décor, and Home Textiles; Phase Two (28–31 March 2026) will showcase Office & Commercial Space and Furniture Machinery & Materials.
Ms Han also highlighted CIFF’s expansive support services under its InterBiz Club programme, including highly successful business-matching programmes such as Click2Connect and Meet2Match, which help international buyers and exhibitors establish successful partnerships throughout the year.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr Stefan Mielchen, Vice Chief Editor of Germany’s MOEBELMARKT — one of Europe’s leading furniture trade publications. Mr Mielchen examined the strategic significance of the Chinese furniture industry within the global economy, noting its evolution from OEM production toward branded value creation. He praised Chinese manufacturers’ export diversification and adaptation to regulatory trends, including sustainability requirements in major markets.

“In today’s complex global environment, trade fairs like CIFF are essential venues for networking, collaboration and strategic growth,” Mr Mielchen said.
To conclude, Mr Casey Loo, Publisher of FurnitureAndFurnishing.com; President of the International Alliance of Furnishing Publications; and Advisor to both the World Furniture Confederation and the Council of Asia Furniture Associations encouraged attendees to visit the 57th CIFF Guangzhou in March. As conference emcee and event co-organiser, Mr Loo reiterated the importance of CIFF Guangzhou for global trade cooperation and industry innovation.
