New Vietnam International Furniture Fair

We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Taiwan Furniture Manufacturers Association (TFMA) and Vietnam Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA) on their new show, Vietnam International Furniture Fair (VIFF) 2019.

An export-oriented event to be held 27-30 November 2019 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, the two major furniture industry powerhouses are pulling all their resources towards making the inaugural edition a success for both exhibitors and visitors. Our company is pleased to be the event’s exclusive international sales representative.

The Vietnamese furniture industry has enjoyed rapid growth in the last decade with huge inflow of foreign investments. The inflow was especially accelerated in the last two years. Regionally, the country’s export surpassed the rest of the Southeast Asia region and currently ranks second in all of Asia, behind China. Globally it is fifth and the climb up the ranks is continuing. Owing to the recent US-China trade conflict along with the rising costs of Chinese production, Vietnam has cemented its position as the indisputably hottest sourcing destination for buyers globally, especially the Americans.

So one can see that VIFF is not to compete with VIFA EXPO, the incumbent show held every March. The new show seeks to play complementary role and together help local exporters reach out and provide international buyers another opportunity to discover more suppliers and proucts. If you are interested in VIFF, please visit www.viff.com.vn. For those keen to exhibit at the event, please contact Ms Ailsa Yin, our project manager at ailsa@apsmediagroup.com. Do act fast as the main hall has been sold out and remaining spaces in the outdoor halls are very limited.

At the end of May was a meeting of the World Furniture Confederation (WFC) along with an election of a new Chairman. Xu Xiangnan, President of both China National Furniture Association and Council of Asia Furniture Associations was elected via a unanimous vote. The new chairman then made two official appointments naming Linda Tu, Vice President of both China National Furniture Association and Council of Asia Furniture Associations its Secretary General and I an Advisor. Other office bearers will be announced at a later date.
